I promise I will be proud
Of the person that I am
One day I know that I
Will be all I want to be
But right now I feel hurt
So much so that I cannot
Even gaze into the mirror
At times the darkness 
Does not seem to go away
And the dream of happiness
Seems all too far from me
But one day a time will come
When I will look upon myself
See the changes I have made
And finally love my reflection..
